Site:

Bear Lake

(Caribbean of the Rockies)

Location:

 Rich County, Utah

Dive Type:

Lake

Comments:
The best diving is from late May to October with the best diving in September.  After mid-August expect daily rain storms.  Best diving is along the east shore of the lake where the shoreline is made up of odd shaped rock formations.  The lake is very blue due to the water’s high calcium content.

DIVERS BEWARE:  THIS LAKE IS A POPULAR ONE FOR WATER SKIING!!
