Good place to get wet, visibility varies and is better in the early
spring and fall. Winter okay if you enjoy ice diving. Depth varies from
15-40 feet, has channels dredged in the middle to the north/northwest
side of lake, not much vegetaion in center but, has large clay
formations which resemble boulders underwater.
Large amount of fish from bluegills,Bass,Northerns and trout.
High concentration of moss around edge of lake so best to enter from
east dock or boat ramp. Usually has thermoclines at 16 feet and 26 feet
and can get down to 54 degrees even in the summer in spots.
