Millbrook Quarry is located about 5 miles off of I-66 in Haymarket, Virginia. It is about ten minutes from Manasas and about an hour from Winchester. It is operated by the Dive Shop in Fairfax, VA and is open from April to November with "Chilly Willy" dives done monthly in the off-season. It is only open to diver's and their guests. Swimming and snorkeling are permitted.

The quarry is surrounded by three entrance areas or "beaches". Each "beach" has multiple training platforms situated at 30 feet. These platforms are suspended by four large surface buoys. Aside from the platforms there are several sunken attractions as well. At 64 feet rests an airplane, at 80 feet rests a Winnebago, and there are also several sunken boats. The rocky drop off makes for a cool wall to look at rock formations.

The is quarry open only on the weekends from 8am until 6pm Saturdays and 8am til 5pm on Sundays. It reopens Saturday night for departing night divers from 9:30 to 10:30pm. You must fill out a one day pass/waiver form and present your C-card at the gate. Camping is available for $5.00 a night after Memorial Day and ends on Labor Day. There are no dive shops in the immediate area. The only other facilities are a few Porta-Johns and a shed for changing.

During the summer months the first 20 or 30 feet warm up to about 65 °F, but the bottom is always in the mid-forties year-round.

The state of Virginia recently killed off the zebra mussels that were living in the quarry, and since then visibility has been deteriorating in the first 30 feet or so. Greater depths usually have pretty clear water for a mid-atlantic quarry.
