Visibility:

6' - 8' on the West end of the lake in the mountain Harbor area

15' - 20' of visibility in the central portions of the lake in the Brady Mountain Resort area
sometimes 50' vis! Those visibilities of course vary from year to year but are a realistic average.

Camping:

The park's fully-equipped cabins include seven that overlook the lake and one that offers a woods view. Currently, the park's campgrounds include 50 campsites: Premium D, Preferred B, and Standard D (no hookups). Enhancements to Campground Area "A" will include the addition of 50 amp electrical service and full sewer hookups to all campsites. Campsite pads will be lengthened to accommodate larger RV units.

Since 1989, the Trantham family has owned and operated Crystal Springs Resort.  Crystal Springs is a complete family resort containing a full service marina with a bait and gift shop, a seasonal restaurant serving great southern cooking, kitchenettes, lakefront cabins, a 14-room lodge with meeting facilities. All accommodations offer color TV and air conditioning, and are available for rent year-around.  Crystal Springs Resort also has a full line of rental boats including pontoon boats, ski boats, fishing boats, and houseboats.
